AirAsia Flight Attendant Serenades Passengers with Michael Bolton and David Foster

Most flight attendants are generally known for providing impeccable service and making our journeys enjoyable.

However, a flight attendant recently took service to a whole new level when she serenaded passengers with a Michael Bolton song.

More surprisingly, he did so in front of Michael Bolton, who was with legendary composer David Foster and music superstars Katharine McPhee and Peabo Bryson.

His soulful commentary garnered applause from everyone on board, including artists traveling to Singapore for a sold-out show.

The performance came from Malaysian singer-to-flight attendant-turned-Ariel Fesol, who shared a video on TikTok last Tuesday (8 August).

@arielfesol It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, thank God for making it happen #davidfosterandfriends #davidfoster #michealbolton #foryou #airasiacabincrew #airasia #howamisupposedtoliveWithyou ♬ original audio – Ariel

Using an onboard intercom, Fesol candidly interpreted Bolton’s hit song ‘How Can I Live Without You’.

Toward the end of the show, Foster exchanged glances of admiration and approval with Bolton and his friend.

As Fesol sang the final note, the performers and other passengers burst into applause and cheers.

In his article, Fesol described it as a “once in a lifetime” experience and thanked God for his blessings.

In a separate video shared by his cabin crew friend, Victor Wong, it was revealed that Fesol dedicated the song to Bolton because his mother was a huge fan.

Wong also praised Foster, calling him “very nice and friendly”.

Passengers with mini-concerts from Michael Bolton, Peabo Bryson and more

It was apparently the final ‘act’ of an in-flight mini-concert featuring short performances by Fesol, Bolton, Peabo Bryson, Loren Allred and Katharine McPhee.

In Wong’s video, Foster started by introducing himself.

He then gave the floor to Malaysian pop diva Siti Nurhaliza. The senior showed off her silky vocals with her famous song ‘Aku Cinta Padamu (I Love You)’.

Foster later went on to give the intercom to various singers, including his wife McPhee, Bolton, Bryson, and Allred.

Bolton’s “When A Man Loves A Woman”, Bryson’s “A Whole New World” and Allred’s “Never Enough” were notable.

Other passengers also took out their phones to record the free concert that opened in front of them.

Next, Foster thanked AirAsia for “everything they’ve done” and the passengers for their support.

He then announced that he would go to the end of the aisle to greet everyone.

Foster and his fellow artists were on their way to Singapore for a one-night concert.

The plane they were on was bound for Singapore, where they held a one-night concert last Tuesday (8 August).

Their stop in Singapore was part of Foster’s tour of David Foster and Friends Asia. In addition, they held demonstrations in Malaysia, Thailand and finally Indonesia.

Often, Foster accompanies his performers on the piano who make hits like the ones mentioned above.

During his decades-long career, Foster penned countless hits for Air Supply, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and many more.

His talent has earned him many awards, including 16 Grammy awards, Emmy awards, and Golden Globe awards.

An aerial concert that leaves passengers in nine clouds

It’s not every day that you get off a plane saying you’re watching a live concert by a team of music icons.

Suffice it to say that all the lucky passengers on the plane are in cloud nine.
